Amandayan was a project that invited us to slow down and truly immerse ourselves in the place. As a team of multi-hyphenated creatives—photographers, filmmakers, and creative directors—we approached it not simply as a shoot, but as a careful observation of culture, light, and atmosphere.
Our process began with listening and watching. We observed how light moved across courtyards, brushed along wooden details, and shifted across the temple exterior. Morning sunlight brought warmth and contrast, highlighting carved surfaces and the textures of stone and wood.
Capturing morning Taichi at Amandayan, we focused on the interplay of movement, architecture, and light. The early golden light highlighted textures and cast fluid shadows across the courtyards, while drone footage provided expansive perspectives of the practice within its environment.

Hear from the client:
Recent ClientBeixin and Robin from EURTHE brought a high level of professionalism and genuine enthusiasm throughout our collaboration. Their understanding of and dedication to the resort made the entire production process seamless. It was clear that they were not simply there to complete a shoot, but were genuinely invested in capturing the distinct character and spirit of the property through their work.
The final imagery was outstanding, both in terms of visual quality and storytelling. They captured the resort‘s architecture, culture and natural surroundings beautifully, while also conveying the unique connection between the resort and its destination, Lijiang. The content not only came through beautifully on their own platforms, but has also provided us with high-quality assets for our own social media communications.
